DIY Law - online legal documents
updated
02 October 2008
There are now several sites that can help you Do It Yourself in many different legal tasks. These generally include a mixture of documents you can download, usually for a fee, sometimes together with guidance notes or instructions, or perhaps with telephone support available should you need it.
If you are a determined DIYer, then take your time to find the right site for you and the right documents to sort out your particular problem. Remember to keep copies of documents and letters that you send and receive. If it does not work out, or becomes too complex, then do not be afraid to take your problem to a solicitor, with all the work that you have done to date. Good luck.
